The Twentieth Times Square Billboard Showcase

The twentieth edition of the Times Square Billboard Showcase took place on May 31, marking another milestone in Visual Art Journal’s ongoing project dedicated to bringing contemporary art into the public space of New York City.

Presented on a digital billboard in Times Square, the showcase offered artists an opportunity to place their work within one of the most recognizable urban environments in the world. For one day, each artwork became part of the visual rhythm of Manhattan — surrounded by lights, movement, architecture, and the constant flow of an international audience.
