The Twenty-Seventh Times Square Billboard Showcase

Times Square never stops moving, and for one day in October some of the moving pictures were artworks.

On October 18, Visual Art Journal presented the twenty-seventh edition of its Times Square Billboard Showcase. Thirty artists from Europe, Asia, the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Americas shared the rotation on a large screen above Broadway and Seventh Avenue. Paintings, photographs and digital works appeared one after another in the middle of the advertising, while the crowds, the traffic and the October light kept moving below.
