The Names Gallery in Paris – September 5-6
Held on September 5-6 at Galerie M in Paris, Fragments of the Contemporary #1 was organized by The Names Gallery and curated by Anna Gvozdeva. The exhibition brought together artists from different countries, generations and creative backgrounds, presenting a wide range of contemporary artistic practices.
Rather than defining contemporary art through a single style or direction, the project emphasized diversity. Painting, photography, digital imagery, abstraction, figurative art and conceptual approaches reflected themes ranging from identity, memory and psychological experience to landscape, cultural heritage, technology and visual experimentation.
The exhibition became a meeting point for independent artistic voices and perspectives. Its strength lay in the coexistence of contrasting techniques, ideas and sensibilities, presenting contemporary art as an open and evolving field shaped by personal experience and cultural context.
