The Twenty-First Times Square Billboard Showcase

The twenty-first edition of the Times Square Billboard Showcase took place on June 21, continuing Visual Art Journal’s ongoing initiative to present contemporary artists in one of the most dynamic public spaces in New York City.

Displayed on a digital billboard in Times Square, the showcase brought together a diverse group of international artists whose works entered the visual landscape of Manhattan for a full day. Surrounded by the energy of the city, the artworks appeared within a setting defined by movement, scale, light, and a constantly changing urban audience.

This edition highlighted a wide range of artistic voices, reflecting different approaches to image-making, visual storytelling, and contemporary creative practice. Through the billboard format, each participant’s work became part of a shared public presentation, extending beyond the traditional gallery environment and reaching viewers in the heart of New York.
