The Seventeenth Times Square Billboard Showcase

We are delighted to present the seventeenth edition of the Times Square Billboard Showcase by Visual Art Journal, which took place on April 5, 2026, in New York City.

Set within one of the most vibrant and recognizable locations in the world, this showcase brought contemporary artworks into the ever-moving landscape of Times Square. Known for its intensity, scale, and global reach, the site offers a powerful context where art becomes part of a shared urban experience.

Over the course of the day, each selected work appeared on a large-scale digital billboard, engaging a diverse international audience. In this environment of constant motion and visual stimulation, the artworks created moments of pause – brief yet meaningful encounters between the viewer and contemporary artistic practice.
