On July 26, Visual Art Journal took over a giant screen in Times Square – and for one full day, contemporary art crashed the busiest corner in New York.
Between the flashing ads and the endless crowd, our artists lit up the billboard with their own images: bold, strange, beautiful, impossible to scroll past. No gallery walls, no velvet ropes – just great work, larger than life, right in the middle of the chaos.
An international lineup, one electric screen, and a city that never looks up finally looking up.
